Young Heroes - 6 month program, lifelong friendships and values
What is Young Heroes?

Young Heroes is a community service and leadership development program for 6th-8th graders from three communities in New Hampshire. The middle school participants from the Seacoast, Manchester, and Nashua regions devote Saturdays to volunteer in their communities. On any given Saturday a Young Hero can learn about various topics from Environmentalism, to Animal Rights, to Elderly Awareness. Some of the service projects that Heroes participate in include beach cleanups, elderly house clean ups, park beautification, and letter writing campaigns.

Each Young Hero completes 100 hours of voluntary community service over five months from January to May. Upon graduation they are honored to receive the Presidential Medal of Service for their commitment and contributions to their community. You can learn more about the program by using the links to the right. If you would like us to contact you please click here to fill in your information.
